Love Struck

It was like a dream to me

When I first saw those hazel eyes

Looking back me

I drifted in the air

Like a bird in the sky

Your love struck me hard

So hard it sent ripples across my heart

I got lost in your embrace

From your very first smile

I felt like you were touching my lips

And burning it high

Your love struck me hard

So hard it pierced an arrow right through my heart

When you touched my hand for the very first time

I felt like your skin was already lapsing against mine

Your love struck me hard

So hard you got my heart drowning in an ocean of love

When you first spoke to me

I felt like you were whispering into my ear

Those three little words

Any lover would long to hear

Your love struck me hard

So hard it really embedded in my heart

First of all none of this is from any real experience, its just my imagination running wild;) secondly, this is more of a song turned to a poem. Thanks to all those who read and review:)

A nice poem of love. True love should be like in this poem. We should be desperate to see the one we love. If the heart don't dance with joy. Maybe the love isn't there. I like the ending to the excellent poem.
