Cry me a river

Cry me a river

A Poem by Amila Jay
"

Cry me a river my poor soul to shiver

"

c
ry me a river

my poor soul to shiver
against the burns
that ravished
in my eyes
stuck like wound
in my heart
a piece of memory
in the past
relive it a thousand times
to tear my flesh apart
this soul is ripped
this soul is sin
this soul not knows the fearful rims

I believe sin is just lessons for us to be better. Few people can live a life without hurting or hurting others. Real sin is repeating the pain and damage again. The poem is strong. Type of poem that open the doors to conversation. Thank you for your outstanding poetry.

Well, I agree as a poem, it works wutie well, I netiher believe that sin exists, and our souls, are immortal, so why ahve something that can destroy it, when it's ot possible, but a good read non the less.

The rhythm and flow just lends itself perfectly to the mood of your words... that painful darkness that sweeps over us as the world grows cold in our undone state... Powerful.
