The Spider

Silent creeper
With thin legs
Came down
In the invisibility
Of a thread
Eyed all corners
And built a web
Smooth and royal
Like a bed
And waited for his guest
A little black ant
Who walked right into his trap

A very nice poem. I like the spiders. Wasn't for spiders. The bugs would take over the world. The spider need to be treated as a friend. I like the description and the story in the excellent poem.
