I got some feedback, this is just a rewrite.

His Name is Beauty

I watch as he runs, I listen to every step

He approaches me, with a smile on his face

“I want to see that smile for the rest of my life”

He looks at me, asks if something is wrong

But I say nothing, I say everything is fine

He is Beauty

I watch as he holds my hand, I feel his soft touch

A big grin crosses my face, and he asks why

He is Beauty.

We walk, we walk until I can’t feel my feet

But I don’t mind walking so long, as long as I’m walking with him

I listen to his breathing, and move with his steps

I watch as he flawlessly takes every stride

I watch as he slows to a stop

He is beauty

I see him look at me, I look back at him

He smiles, so I can’t help but smile back

“I love you” he says

Without thinking, without hesitation the words pour from my mouth

“I love you more”

He is Beauty
