Prologue

This is my prologue, yes I'm aware it's short but it has to be because she is speaking from an apocalyptic setting. Plus it creates mystery.

It's been so long since I've looked at anything even resembling a calender, but I think it's somewhere around June 16, 2032. That's almost twenty years after the apocalyptic invasion. Though I suppose it would be easier if I start at the beginning, but always remember; run! Run from the faceless!

December was always a cold month. It came with snow, sleet, and hail, but not this year. This year it came with death and infection all in less than a day. It all started with the Mayans and their calender. December 21, 2012 was the day the apocalypse happens. Let me start my story about a week before.
