All I Can Offer

All I Can Offer

A Poem by Armistead Lindsey
"

Sometimes we have so much to offer those we love

"
You'd never even crossed my mind,
Yet your soft skin is now:
So appealing, Enticing even.
And I watch him touch you,
And notice your response,
The lack of comfort you show,
How he seems unappealing to you.
Baby, my touch would be right,
I'd forever make you comfortable,
Ease all discomfort.

I'd make you enter a new world,
Where you reside in the center,
And all needs, desires and dreams,
Become your reality.
You'd never have to worry
About anyone again,
I'd do that for you.
Focus on yourself, babe,
I'll fight our battles for us,
And give you all I can offer.

About
I write for personal expression and share with people who, in many ways, I hope never to meet in person. This is not because people are horrible, but because my writing holds something too personal fo.. more..
