Two 'povs' - one from the poet taking the p...s about notions of cool and the 'pov' of the poem's protagonist inviting the reader to see beyond the cool to his warm-heart.
Bruce Lee - an original juxtaposed with commercialised 'cool brands' - that invites reflection - the one being an original and the others being 'off-the-peg' versions.
I am left with all kinds of words below the surface of this piece. but it is excellent no matter what the back story. Well done.
Some of those thoughts have to do with fantasy and reality within your words and your own mind. A sheltered life perhaps I've had, but Spiked hair and motor bike, "Japan", yep. Delhi?? WTF
A moment please as I attempt to wrap my mind around a spiked haired motor bike dude going down the path to the Taj Mahal. Well Done young man. Peace out.
Your definition of cool is one that anybody with plenty of sense in their noggin would know to be true. All of those loud, cocky, inconsiderate people who only care about the brand of clothing they wear, and not the feelings of those around them, that claim to be cool are just fake. The real cool people are the ones who care about others. Nicely written, this is something that needed to be said. :)
