True love seeks not itself to please for it fears no loss of station Creating ease, with every breeze Heaven grows to Hell's frustration

Joys in the tease, the loss of ease

wreaking Hell of Heavens respite

 

True love seeks not itself to please

for itself it has not a care

Creating ease, with every breeze

Heaven grows within Hell's despair

It isn't so hard to understand the differences in love and usury.
One is selfish the other selfless.

Love and all of its forms and varieties are infinite source of interpretation, inspiration, etc. And we describe it in infinite ways. Here I really love the last two stanzas and how they connect to each other in their opposites.
