Trouble

Trouble

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

Seek the heart as long you search wrap it tight in Love's embrace be mindful to it's needs and wants keep it clothed in silk and lace

"

My own rendering of ex girlfriend Robyn Cooper and I. She the mother of the little boy Drake, to whom I dedicated my second book.

Tarry not down life's long road

stay quick fleet and true

Weary's the path on which you tread

be mindful of that you do

____________________________

Seek the heart as long you search

wrap it tight in Love's embrace

be mindful to it's needs and wants

keep it clothed in silk and lace

___________________________

Never assume once struck by love

she would not wish you to replace

But learn you hard as she is scarred

the feel of loss from her embrace

__________________________

Take you this from the lips of a sinner

heal the calluses, wounds and sores

The smart man learns from his mistakes

while the wise man learns from yours

Hey!!! Know what? You one wise man me friend.. I have met many out there, yet you.... Ahhhhh The wisest there is. For you write with soul. Deep inside of you lives a old soul from way back and with it came a gift that will last a lifetime.. And you know how to use it my friend.. That is your gift for all.. Your gift to us.. And we thank you kindly..

Much wisdom in this piece and it does come from learning.....'be mindful to its needs' is a profound statement....these lines below are so true...great piece...

The smart man learns from his mistakes
while the wise man learns from yours

Love is indeed sacred and learning to or being born with the ability to love others as much as you love yourself is
what we all should strive for. Lessons are so often learned the hard way. Life's long road is never smooth.
Winding and rocky , we sometimes run off the road along the way. We can give up or we can get back on the road... hoping and doing all we can to make the journey a smooth one.
If we do not learn from out mistakes we make them over and over again. If we are wise and do learn then we will be the wisemen as others learn from us ... to be a teacher is one of the greatest professions.
A poem of love, wisdom and wisemen.

Peace

"The smart man learns from his mistakes ~ while the wise man learns from yours...." If only we were all old souls we'd know what to do with the possibilities of our youth....the flesh that clothes every heart does not always reveal intentions of love while every human longs to feel desired for every bit of their flesh, soul and mind.
