life seldom gives but just one turn

while knowing so well the danger

I still wish to live, love and learn

Sometimes love is in the first sight! This was written for Rebecca. Seldom do the paths of dreams and reality meet .Rebecca is one of those.

Happiness and sadness within such a short time. The happiness of your daughters wedding while meaningful pales in relation to the loss of someone that has been an inspiration to you, your entire life. Sorry not needed. Family is first and writing always pales when there is family. Sorry for you loss my friend.

Thank you I didnt have a funeral for my father.He was a horseman raced harness horses as my family have done for 6 generations.Instead we had a gathering of the souls at the race track in troy ohio where he was born and raised.My family have been at that fairgrounds for over a hundred years.I poured his ashes across the finish line of the race track where his life began and his race was finally run. It was a much nicer day than any funeral i have ever known. filled with the stories of a career that held many a turn. Horseman are great storytellers. Gypsys of a sort it is how they keep their history alive. i have written of a few of these characters over the years. As to my daughter it was a great day and everything that could go wrong didnt.
