Good looking boy Tate, and your sentiments here are awesome. Who should be jealous of whom my friend, as I wish that I could own that honouring to have a son. To own that experience that has at this time of my life evade me. I least i can be happy for my friend and hope rises through that torch passed on. I wish him well and know he has a firm foundation in which to start having Tate Morgan, as a Father.

I'm not a father myself nor did i have one around so i can't really relate. But it sounds like a beautiful dedication to a love one carefully tailored and masterfully crafted with true emotions. And to that i can relate. A true display of feelings seasoned with a flow of a talented poet.

Beautiful work, Tate Morgan. I wish I had a child to write something like this for. What a wonderful piece.

Very nice. The sentiments are those that I think almost any father feels.

love affords us little opportunity to bask in joy...
having children in one of those chances to be filled with
such emotion and outpouring of selflessness...
there are very few in life I would put my life on the line for
but I'd do it for any of my own children...
what a feeling to see them achieve...
it's as if we did it ourselves with our own two hands
it's in those moments we are closest to God
and understand his depth of Love for us...
Wonderful tribute to a beautiful boy...
Just wait until he has children and you see with a grandfathers eyes...
be ready for the most intense rush of your life...

Well, a greeting from a grandchild is kind of great also, but you have a point! Nicely done!

I'm not even a parent, but I can feel the love that's spilling out of this. Beautiful poem.

I love this. My father was never really in my life, and it makes me believe that there are good fathers out there, and not every man will leave his children for a girlfriend. thanks for sharing, and good choice in music. definitely helps set the moood. keep writing, KaylynnMelody♥
