Good looking boy Tate, and your sentiments here are awesome. Who should be jealous of whom my friend, as I wish that I could own that honouring to have a son. To own that experience that has at this time of my life evade me. I least i can be happy for my friend and hope rises through that torch passed on. I wish him well and know he has a firm foundation in which to start having Tate Morgan, as a Father.
You are, indeed, a fortunate man and you have a fortunate son; and since boys learn how to treat women from thier Fathers, your son will have a fortunate wife. Go with God, my friend; you are on the right path.
oh my god i nearly cried reading this! :'( I'm fifteen, and all too soon i've begun to see my dad and i growing apart, and i can say that it's the worst thing in the world. I can't imagine, though, how it feels for the father. I hope you and your son keep that love alive, which doesn't seem like it's going to be a problem :) I loved this poem, thanks for sharing!!
