Sunshine

Sunshine

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

Now my pains have no place to play And nothing left for them to do

"

Rebecca

You consoled my worn soul

 lifting me to my feet

A noble heart of kindness

dealt Purgatory defeat

I found the nightmares fading

as the new thoughts took their place

Washing out the poison

that so long had filled that space

That smile faded my sadness

with sweet thoughts I had of you

As pains found no place to play

and nothing for them to do

A lovely poem, I could actually feel the emotions passing around.
The stanzas are complimenting each other wonderfully.
Good job overall, in my library :)

so many feelings packed into all this love,
so much past pain washed away with kisses,
without regrets you chased the sun,
and played among my mind as you told us about shared wishes,
and hopes of dreams to come...
My hat's off to you,Well Done!

Poem is outstanding. When we are lucky enough to find the right person. Life is very good. Your description and story was very good. You two look good together. A excellent poem.

;~) I think/believe I'm getting past the pains once close to the surface. Tracy Chapman!! ;~) I've got cassette tapes of her tunes... something about her voice and lyric soothed my soul then and now.
Your write... a good message to the one it was written for... reminds me that it is good to tell those you love that you DO, each time you see them, leave their pressense and talk with them over the phone.

This is a breathaking piece of poetry, so bright and soft, with a feeling of warmth and peace, you did a great job with this.
