Sunshine

Sunshine

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

Now my pains have no place to play And nothing left for them to do

"

Rebecca

You consoled my worn soul

 lifting me to my feet

A noble heart of kindness

dealt Purgatory defeat

I found the nightmares fading

as the new thoughts took their place

Washing out the poison

that so long had filled that space

That smile faded my sadness

with sweet thoughts I had of you

As pains found no place to play

and nothing for them to do

Thanks Ed It is the key to all our inspirations
This is a stunning dedication... a beautiful image of what one person can do to impact a life.. to bring hope and beauty and endless love... May we all strive to be that kind of light for just one other in this world...

Hi Craig It is possible to fall in love late in life and for it to be like it was as a young man. In.. read more
"I've been saved by a woman. I've been saved by a woman. I've been saved by a woman. She won't let me down. She won't let me down. She won't let me down. She won't let me down, now." This song by Ray LA Montague is one of my favorites. His poetry, for that is what his songs are, reminds me of yours and his song Trouble from which these lines are taken remind me of your poem Sunshine. Heartfelt thanks to the one who loves you enough to save your life.

Some people fill such ache in us, and help us see a world of beauty rather than pain, because they are so real, beautiful and insightful. Your words are beautiful, full of past aches and hurt, cleaned by love.
