Sunshine

Sunshine

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

Now my pains have no place to play And nothing left for them to do

"

Rebecca

You consoled my worn soul

 lifting me to my feet

A noble heart of kindness

dealt Purgatory defeat

I found the nightmares fading

as the new thoughts took their place

Washing out the poison

that so long had filled that space

That smile faded my sadness

with sweet thoughts I had of you

As pains found no place to play

and nothing for them to do

It's beautiful. I especially loved the stanza:

Life's long gone nightmares were fading
as your new thoughts took up their place
Taking away poison ideas
that had so long filled that space

Great job and keep writing!

Your words really say it all .. there's nothing like two minds that stroke the same emotions.

' Your bright spring morning sunrise .. from pains lost sorrows helped me cope ' To experience feelings like that is a gift .. and I'm sure you offer the same.

Beautiful .. and the photo is wonderful.

This is fabulous. The very thought of someone or something taking away nasty thoughts and pains that are lying dormant, is just the best feeling ever. So very lucky to experience this makes it such a great write for you as the joy and relief comes over clearly.
Thanks

Incredible and very beautiful. The power (and beauty) of love is amazing - it washes away all darkness from our souls and fills us with such 'brightness' and joy....

fantastic piece,

pains have no place to play. Sort of illustrates the illusion of self induced suffering.
