Over the Rainbow

Over the Rainbow

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

There memories go to bloom again in the warm spring rains of the sky He’ll see her beauty stand before him not the passage of time go by

"

No more words dreamed by the poet

the skies are not kissed by the dew

Stories of the life they once shared

just memories of loves sweet hue

Tender words no longer touch him

gentleness he no longer lives

Alone he hides within himself

no beauty in life left to give

Music no longer rules his soul

a quiet mind surrounds this heart

Darkness descends upon the world

since he and she were torn apart

For he so loved her so complete

shared with her inner thought

To heaven go his soul alone

a lifetime with love he fought

There memories go to bloom again

in the warm spring rains of the sky

He’ll see her beauty stand before him

not the passage of time gone by

Then these two will greet each other

like some old friends and lovers do

To find the love they lost in life

where wonders of passions renew

Beautiful and so perfect. I felt this great loss when my wife died. You have captured that like no other writing I have ever seen. And then you do a wonderful transition to hope. The story is not over there is more to come. I almost feel God had you write this for me. It is a blessing to me. With tears in my eyes I say thank you.

This such a sad beautiful love story. The third stanza to me is the saddest. If music cannot heal you of whatever pain you have, them I am sorry. It ends with great hope and passion though. This might be my absolute favorite of yours.

Oh my gosh, Tate.... I'm literally crying right now. No other piece had me crying...

I love this so much, beyond words.. and I feel like I can relate to it. It's funny because my status/motto for everything is "Over the Rainbow" and I'm going through a situation right now that this piece really compares to...

This is so beautiful, and I think it is one of my favorites. Every word is so beautiful, it paints such a beautiful picture in my mind and it just goes.. I can feel it inside me, and I love it.

You have such a way with words.. it's perfect.

You were absolutely correct when you messaged me saying that I would like this piece. It is absolutely wonderful. It has a flow that is as smooth as oiled glass. It has a beautiful message as well - that true love transcends all (at least that was my interpretation of it). Overall, a piece I could find no fault with whatsoever.

it seems when love in this world has left us snowblind and comfortless, the only saving grace is the thought that maybe ........ maybe in another realm, it could be made right again. in the depths of despair, sometimes that desparate hope is one that can carry us through until cloud banks part to reveal the rainbow blossoming on the horizon. for without the clouds, how could we deeply appreciate the glow of hope ahead? poingant thoughts, tate. well done.

The whole overall appeal of this writing is amazing. The words, the picture, and the music make the entire piece beautiful. Especially your words and their meaning. I love it. Absolutely adore it.
