Man, this is gorgeous! So full of loveliness! A resounding awwwh could be heard as the poem ended. What wonderful evoking of emotion-what a way to convey such an over-conveyed feeling!
And as usual your perfect flow and rhyme only helped your message through the minds (and hearts!) of your readers. I don't doubt that I'll return to read this poem again just to feel the beauty of it...

Really, thank you.

Now here you show perfect use of punctuation and it makes a great poem even greater! Loved this one especially.

I am glad you entered this into my contest
I was defiantly moved by this poem and my favorite stanza is this one
"So spread your limbs, reach for the sky.

Though seasons change, and leaves may die,

They bloom each spring with new glow.

For roots are strong and never go."

Amazing job

gorgeous graphics befitting the music and heart of this piece ........ how lovely to honour her with the beauty and grace of woman while the structure and security of roots give her strength and freedom to blossom in you .....

Very pretty, Tate. I love the imagery of the tree and roots. I do so love nature and when poems compare people to things in nature.

This is really adorable and romantic, if poetry can be such a thing. I love the idea of tree and you are the roots. Very clever.
