Man, this is gorgeous! So full of loveliness! A resounding awwwh could be heard as the poem ended. What wonderful evoking of emotion-what a way to convey such an over-conveyed feeling!

A VERY sweet sentiment I wish i had wrote that for my daughter as I felt the same emotions when she left and moved out on her own. It's so sad for us but alas you have to let them go that's life! imagine how our parents must have felt! now I understand. I really like this poem.

I knew right when I hit the "I am the roots, you are the tree" That this was a parent talking to thier child. Even though I am still a child myself, I k it is true. One of your best the love and emotion flows and leaps off the page.
