A Lass

A Lass

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

Lucy Hamilton whose light shone across an entire ocean, to brighten the moonlit sky upon my endless nights.

"

Lucy Hamilton Princess of Ireland

The brightest star in the night sky

I chanced upon an evening walk

beneath the stars with you

Transformed was I to hear you talk

so bright and shining too

Emerald eyes from which you gaze

taken from your lands of green

Shone back to me in loving ways

more beauty than I had seen

I listen for each and every thought

to flow from your beautiful mind

Everything you say I am then taught

in greatest measure and kind

Daughter and heir of precious dreams

sweetest of days morning dew

Oh much more ever than she seems

such is the beauty of you

Tate Morgan
Lucy Hamilton whose light shone across an ocean. To brighten the moonlit sky. Upon my endless nights.

Dear Lucy:
Each time Becky and I hear your voice on the phone we light up, look at each other and smile over the beauty that is you. We both wish you all our love from centuries and ancestors past and present.

wow man you are an amazing writer. Its hard to write with your kind of style but still make it appealing to a diverse audience. Its like old school beaytiful poetry, with new school rap/spoken word. you got the flow and rythem of the rap/spoken word, and the beauty and grace of old school oscar w (hes my fav) and i ABSOLUTLEY love it!!!

Oh this was so warm and enticing.. deep emerald green eyes.. very rare and my favorite colour of eyes... the eyes of my grandmother!! I used to get lost in her eyes.. they were beautiful.. my grandfather's were the iciest blue you ever seen too... they both had such unique eyes. Any writing with eyes highlighted is sure to get my attention.. this one finds you admiring a particular person's windows of their souls.. touching. The flow, rhythm and rhyme again were really good here.. your writing says alot of who you are.. that is a warm and sincere person! =)
