Tate and I

Whatever men say in blindness

or in spite of fancies of youth

Nothing's so kingly as kindness

while nothing's so royal as truth

We get back mete as we measure

one cannot do wrong and be right

Nor deal in pain to bring pleasure

for justice avenges each slight

So to the pain of his distress

whose earnings don't tell of his worth

An honest man this life will bless

despite the misfortunes of birth

How are you? I think I’ve had enough commercialism in my life. The truths of life are pretty simple Aren’t they?

Since my grandson was born, he's now 4 years old, my outlook on the world has changed so much. You might say my eyes have finally seen it for what it is. I only have a few years left on this earth and I fear for the world my grandson will grow up in.
