A Poem by Tate Morgan

Tate and I

Whatever men say in blindness

or in spite of fancies of youth

Nothing's so kingly as kindness

while nothing's so royal as truth

We get back mete as we measure

one cannot do wrong and be right

Nor deal in pain to bring pleasure

for justice avenges each slight

So to the pain of his distress

whose earnings don't tell of his worth

An honest man this life will bless

despite the misfortunes of birth

One man's wealth is another man's folly. True wealth brings happiness, but monetary wealth isn't a key to it.

Thank you Marve We both have lived long enough to absorb a few things here and there
The cost of kindess is nothing, but the value beyond price. The kindness we choose in this world is the true mark of our humanity. Well penned.

Grow with the unexpected challenges. Be a man and a father growing with youth. Touching all the way through. An enlightening read.

Be truthfully kind! What a tenet for living. And the hope rings with the its blessings despite the circumstances of one's birth. This is how men are made. Thanks for the fatherly heart and this exhortative poem! /Frederick.
