Why do I query my own mind as sadly I prove myself right The two halves becoming entwined in tauntings that cause them to fight
Is this my own duality with the conscience I hold so dear Or do I taste mortality with it's old friend mighty fear
I find myself set in my ways unlike those nights back in my youth When I was such a fire ablaze who never questioned life or truth
