"Aris and Andrew it is with all the love in my heart I grant you both my blessing and that of my ancestors. May it be enough"
My daughter Aris's life is about to change. Her fiance is arriving home tonight on a flight from Afghanistan. I am going to be the man who walks her down the aisle fulfilling her childhood dream of getting married to prince charming. Has it really been that long?

Nostalgia is nestled carefully into every word of this poem, and it suits your style quite nicely. Well done.

You make such lovely poems as always, this one even more so since it came from the heart.
I felt bittersweet as I read. I am very happy for you but it felt like this was a farewell to your child; it was a goodbye. Years spent with her gone in the blink of an eye, from a babe to a woman, she's old enough to explore the world on her own and have her own children.
Gosh, I'm only 21 and you making me sad yet so happy because without the changing of times, where would we be?
Though this may be the closing of one chapter in your life, the next is yet to come.
Congratulations Tate! She's very beautiful. She'll be even more so on her wedding day!

Hi angelina Thank you I am sure i will shed tears over this one
This is very moving, and more so when I got to the pictures at the end, which illuminated the life behind the words. It's a beautiful testimony of love. Wonderful poem. You are a truly talented artist.
This is a beautiful poem for you daughter... I think memories are the most important things we can make especially when we know time is not on our side....

Memories and heartfelt family feelings are best made known, just as you have done here. She will be just as proud of you as you are of her.
Fitting tribute

There is one word missing, one hint that I know you did not miss, it is what this work is 'Serendipitous'. And amount of definition can convey your wonderful work.
