Wishes For The World..5th Global Christmas Collaboration

Wishes For The World..5th Global Christmas Collaboration

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

A poem by 39 poets from 13 different countries. May it bring peace to our little part of the world. For truly we are all of the same race, the human race.

"

When I was young the world seemed endless. I was

overawed by everything it represented: an enormity

of space, a cornucopia of life, but the tragedy of

war, of need, of tears. Now older, I know there's far

more to consider. With all my heart I pray the

survival of this planet and its multitudes through

wisdom, tolerance, empathy, unselfishness and most

of all - LOVE.

Emma Joy - UK

No snow in a land kissed by the sand and sun

Brightens an expectant future lifted on a festive cheer

N laze away our summer days

Kick it back, thank fat Santa n crack another beer

Adrian AIDZ Giannini ~ Australia

A card expressing Christmas love,

an ornament of evergreen decoration,

a blanket of white covering

covering the ground

when there is no snow white

like angel wings of love, touching

touching the hem of baby Jesus

Jesus's birth under a bright glowing star...

Arthur Henn ~ USA

I wish for all to feel LOVE

Touching our hearts at least once

Leaving its mark for evermore

Radiating peace hope and smiles

Barbara B (Seashell) ~ Scotland

May this yuletide season draw together hope for a

more perfect tomorrow,

to which hunger no longer prevails and the world

over unites. Behold the eyes of a child, such

preexist.

Becky Corinne Strukamp (InYrDreams) ~ USA

I wish each have dreams to reach for,

the heart and strength to have beliefs,

the wisdom to listen before speaking,

and the love to accept others.

Chris ~ USA

Dream of a world that never cries,

Each gift of dawn opens our eyes,

a wish filled with presence of love,

bowed in the magic of Christmas.

Corset ~ USA

Still the mind and calm the hearts of humankind

just one second is all I ask - pause....and breathe.

See the world and its children in its tortured frame,

See that it's our only home - and time to change the

game.

C.R. ~ Ireland

In the arms of capricious cold

There is warm hope

There are bright spots visible

And sparkle

In pure inner strength in everyone

Where faith and peace rest

And love grows… Merry Christmas

Elisa Laura (E.L.) ~ The Netherlands

Starry lanterns fills the evening sky

The smell of ham and singing voices ring

Old quarrels and fights now lost and buried

Begins this peaceful night of Christmas cheer

Fierysuzaku ~ Philippines

A planet cradled in loves esteem

Spirits aglow with hope and dreams

Peaceful hearts both old and small

Each wish fulfilled for one, and all!

Hey Jude ~ USA

i wish . . .

not one child is forgotten this Christmas;

That the lonely find comfort in a friend;

That for just one day, resentments and harsh words

are left outside in the cold with only warmth and

laughter hitching a ride in the front door;

i wish

for twinkling lights and glowing candles, group hugs

and families reunited;

i hope . .

we remember the reason for the season and where

all that is good and wholesome comes from

But most of all, i wish every single person a reason

to h.o.p.e.

j ~ USA

We'll watch the glistening snowflakes,

As they fall down from the sky,

And warm up by the fireplace,

For Christmas has arrived.

Katie ~ USA

Wish for the ability to make wishes.

Wish for times not afraid

Wish for dreams that are not fleeting

Wish in light not in shade.

Ken Simm~ Uk

Christmas giving ,not receiving.

pay it forward, only believing

that what comes of an empty pocket belies

the fullness of the heart inside.

(Laury) Eclipsing Moon ~USA

The Devil’s claw had lost its grip

 Upon that Christmas day

As they sung Carols in no-mans land

Until they were all chased away

Bells rung above the whisper of peace

Had the gift of love been given?

A message of hope, a ray of light

That for all our wars we were forgiven

LeighGreen ~ UK

I am grateful for the obliging Cafe soil,

Cupping my broken shell

Lighting,giving,me back to me.

May Marys Holy Spirit do the same for you.

In her name,  Amen..

Look for the helpers.....

Lee Von Cleef  ~ USA

My hope is that you’ll walk in love,

with peace your footprints in the sand,

feel freedoms’ kiss upon your cheek

and know joy as your greatest friend.

Lilly ~ Australia

NO HAY FINAL EN EL MUNDO,SI

LAS PERSONAS TIENEN UN

CORAZON LLENO DE AMOR,

NO HAY TAL DESTRUCCION SI EL

MUNDO SE RINDE ANTE EL AMOR,

NO HAY OSCURIDAD SI EL AMOR

DE LA NAVIDAD SIGUE EN SUS

CORAZONES

NO HAY PERSONA QUE NO PUEDA

DERRIBAR LA MURALLA SI TIENE

FE.

(There is no ending of the world if people have a

heart full of love

There is no destruction if the people of the world

surrender to love

There is no darkness if the love of Christmas is

maintained in their hearts

There is nobody that cannot break down barriers if

that person has faith.)

Lu Abimael ~ Guatemala

The crowd is cold and starving tonight,

So the dancer breathes and their embers are stirred;

And when she leaps they’re filled with light,

And they share the flight of the fire-bird.

And as the crowd continues to grow

The dancer spins and the world is stirred;

And when she leaps her rubies glow,

And we share the dawn of the fire bird.

Makosica ~ USA

Aunque los vientos de la Vida sacudan

fundaciones de la piedra,

Deseo para usted: la generosidad, seguridad,

conocimiento;

por todos hacemos Sabios en busca de una

estrella para seguir, después de todo.

Puede usted refugiarse en la alegría de tener, saber

simplemente; lo suficiente.

(Even as Life’s winds shake foundations of stone,

I wish for you: the generosity, security, knowledge;

for all become Wise Men searching a star to follow,

after all.

May you shelter in joy of simply having, knowing;

enough.)

Marie Anzalone/ Raquelita ~ Guatemala/USA

I wish for

our world...

the warming comfort of a quilt

sewn from scraps of joy and laughter,

Cups of cocoa, shortbread cookies

served with Honey, Hope and Peace

Mary ~ USA

lets us bring forth harmony, together

as we gather for such a joyous occasion

so all our voices will ring

with a love the world can sing

Mauricio Montoya ~ USA

I wish the world through my eyes see

How beautiful and worthy each and everyone is

without ever needing to hear the words

but kind souls saying them regardless

Mia ~ South Africa

One giver of heart inclination,

Each part still beating all the world;

In a brilliant shine and Paradise quest,

The desire of early world.

I am the child in you I am

And I re-feel just how it was

On Christmas eve tucked up in bed

A-peeping out for man in red

Orlando Furioso ~ UK

I dream of a simple wish that is not selfish

That someday technology and nature blend well

Balance is in the right direction, together standing

still

Harmony prospers in the heights of justice

When scattered is the snowfall

And blushed with cold is the dark

I still hope for peace for all

A flame to endure the night

Love happiness and joy

Binds us beneath the sky

snow sand canyon meadows

stand on the horizon with nimble feet

to welcome us for the festival of joy

In frosted glass I stare serene at city scenes on

plastic snow

And listen to a song so sweet, a tune of peace to all

the world

The haunting pace of voices past begins to steal

my lilting mind

As alabaster rivers tremble in the quiet, frozen

facade of time…

Tate Morgan
It is my true hope that we will all one day see each other as one family, the family of man. May god bless the little children and ease the aching hearts of the people in Sandy Hook Connecticut. Our hearts go out to you. To Emma and Craig thank you I am honored to be asked to participate in this annual undertaking.

I wanted to thank you Tate for inviting me to participate. This collaboration is simply beautiful. Thanks to Emma and Craig as well.

The wish that we all see each other as one family, what a wonderful desire and how amazing that would be. The tragedy in Conneticut is once again a reminder to draw near those in your life that you hold dear and reach out to those you do not. We never know when tragedy could strike affecting ourselves.

Thanks again to Tate, Emma and Craig for this joyous callaboration.

There unfortunately is chaos,But fortunately we are body, mind, and Souls that know how to persevere, thank you all for the encouraging reception you have given me this year, I hope that I can return the love that has bridged my troubles to firmer ground. Reach out to Sandy Hook, light their way to the Cafe, let us absorb their grief,be the forum to bind their wounds, the way only words of Poets can.
