Wishes For The World..5th Global Christmas Collaboration

A poem by 39 poets from 13 different countries. May it bring peace to our little part of the world. For truly we are all of the same race, the human race.

When I was young the world seemed endless. I was

overawed by everything it represented: an enormity

of space, a cornucopia of life, but the tragedy of

war, of need, of tears. Now older, I know there's far

more to consider. With all my heart I pray the

survival of this planet and its multitudes through

wisdom, tolerance, empathy, unselfishness and most

of all - LOVE.

I wanted to thank you Tate for inviting me to participate. This collaboration is simply beautiful. Thanks to Emma and Craig as well.

The wish that we all see each other as one family, what a wonderful desire and how amazing that would be. The tragedy in Conneticut is once again a reminder to draw near those in your life that you hold dear and reach out to those you do not. We never know when tragedy could strike affecting ourselves.

Beautiful. I love the idea and the execution. One tiny nitpick - Scotland and England are IN the UK, but they seem to be implied as seperate countries. It doesn't really matter though, and this is something really special. Merry Christmas everyone

It is my guess that Scotland will become its own master at some time in the future. They do have parliament there as well dont they ? However Scotland is certainly different from England.Americans aware of this almost never refer to Scotland as part of the UK.
