Burning (part 1)A Poem by Arielle HillWhen you have the urge for a person so, that it makes you....A Poem For You (Burning) Heat from my body, Sweat running down my thighs, Looking at you glowing in my shadows, Making my steam rise, Needing a little rain, For to calm down the fire, But as you keep coming closer, It gets hotter and hotter, Burned to a thin limit, Fire red but not cold blue, My heart sings fever, A feeling for you, Bones weak, Bursting with fuel, My mind is racing rapidly, I can’t keep my cool, Leaking with water, Wet with sweat, You can see my heart beating, Coming out of my chest, My hot soul lurching for the cool wind, My beautiful sun I care for you, Soon we will meet, So I’ll see you in part 2. 9th grade © 2011 Arielle HillAuthor's Note
