Breaking ApartA Poem by Arielle Hillwhen you're dealing with two different lifestyles inside yourself, it's hard on you. It hurts inside but you know it's going to work out. The time just doesn't come fast enough. (Not skitsofrantic)A Poem For You (Breaking Apart) Criss cross in the mix, Dipping in and out again, Mixed in society’s flavors, Of life’s dividend, Collision of two winds, Forming change of the breeze, Holding back the tears, From messing with two personalities, My two personalities, It’s a tight space to fit, You try going from green to blue, And see how your light is lit, Frustration of the education, The brain and the nerves, Muscles tense up in the eyes, Because both lives curve, Scissors do cut, Cut some things out of me, I don’t have much now, But what’s left inside of me, Some blind to the fact, They don’t realize what I do, But I know that one-day, Work will pay off, And my life will come through. 11th grade © 2011 Arielle HillAuthor's Note
