Maria

Maria

A Poem by Greg the Bard

Maria

Maria is highest of all torments

It sings in the tall Sequoia

And brings mist that flood the soul

Mother Nature laments in low vibrations

As the romance of hate gathers again

To destroy the faith of man

Humble he bows his head in surrender

Knowing his fate is in the hands of God

Knowing his life is ever lasting in Gods hands

Upwards the torrent continues

The voice of Maria is high now

Weeping with the knowledge of death

Mother Nature calms her fear of mankind

Gods hand is among the few

The little boy looks up and sees blue

“Father” he points up

“What does it mean?”

A prayer has been answered

The earth is clean now

The gulley wash is gone

We drive home knowing not why

For in her fear and hate

Mother Nature knows

Only Man can commute her fate
