Mabs

A Poem by Greg the Bard

Mabs

A sparkle came into my life today

She came with a chuckle wanting to play

Dressed in shorts with sandals of pink

She cooed for attention so distinct

My heart was open for her to come in

We ran and played from end to end

This bundle of energy with no on off switch

Laughed and giggled without a twitch

Toddlers do toddle, their true to form

This one evokes a love new born

A smile of happiness from our Lord

Of Maebry my sparkle has adorn

Methinks that she has you exactly where she wants you greg. My family is split up and live far away so I rarely saw my grandchildren I see more of my great grandchildren but still not enough. So I enjoy their visits whilst I can
There is something infectious about a toddlers inexhaustible energy
