Seasons

Seasons

A Poem by Greg the Bard

Seasons

The seasons have changed

Not in Temperate Zones

But in the times they come

Not staying to long

The summer winds seem to linger late

The winter snow, drift much greater

When I was young autumn started in early August

Now it seems the summer winds end in October with no buffer

My Grandmother talked about summer and winter having a fall

Now-a-days we’re lucky to have a college game day to wrap up to

Sitting on bleachers in shorts with an ice chest of cold drinks

Whatever happened to fall?
