Who would I have been?

Who would I have been?

A Poem by Greg the Bard

“Who Would I Have Been”

Who would I have been if

My Dad had married someone other than my Mom

Would I have blond hair and blue eyes?

Or maybe I would be of a different nationality

A Mexican me!

An African-American me!

A Chinese Me!

Or the Irish American that I am.

Who would I be if

Dad was from the northern states

Instead of the Southeast

A true Red Neck!

Would I be a girl instead of a guy?

Green eyes instead of blue?

Never knowing and always shy

Having new parents because of who?

very interesting concept and I have to admit that my mind has wondered the same things, especially when I look at my half brother and sisters :)

Now that was a fun piece. But so true, and thank goodness we are who we are and not another. Because if we weren't then would we be married, married to another, and what about the kids, the grandkids? oh my this could go on forever. lol
What a great fun, thought provoking piece. Absolutely loved this
