Moments Now GoneA Poem by Greg the BardProse
Moments of memory assumed within Power over the human cause Forth right in changing the cause With out changing the person
Action giving legs to the cause Consuming the soul of the individual Making life more or less live able Stationary in the moment
Hair grows white with age Still wanting a cause Death waiting in the shadows Waiting his turn to be part of the cause
Out living your self respect Not wanting to be a burden Looking for the right time To give in and die
Moments of memory now lost Looking back with a smile Seeing what you have sown Growing to heights unamused
Believing in the one true faith Knowing that you are not lost Looking forward to the next stage Waiting for the grace of the Lord
Settling for what you have caused Knowing it was you that made a cause Causing your life to have meaning Leaving this moment to your family
Saying Good by When it is not necessary Sleep now and be aware That you are not alone
