Forgotten

A poem about memory

Can hardly remember what I often forget
Calling on the hippocampus to discover the name
To find the file name carrying time
If only it existed
Somewhere
Yet it seems forgotten yet again
Deep in the dense brain fog
Locked away somewhere in my mind
Maybe, someday, I will find the right word
Recalling the face and the name
