I wish I could

describe her to you, Maria.

Talk about the way

she toys with her hair,

the way her eyes twinkle,

the way she looks at me,

the way she smiles and speaks,

the way she purses her lips when she blushes.

You know, Maria.

Till now, I have written

579 poetries,

a thousand quotes,

and a million metaphors

to paint her picture

in your mind.

All but in vain, Maria.Its like counting drops

in the ocean.

She's too vast to describe.

The only way I see

is to bring her

in front of you 

and make you listen

to her voice.

All I need is a mirror

and a voice recorder.
