RiseA Poem by Chirag Kumar
Delirious winds throng the dormant senses. Comatose mind awakens to the Karmic beat. The chaos in the skies strike a thunder in my eyes. Cynical beliefs have geared up for a retreat.
Cobwebs of delusion have finally broken free. The drugged melancholy has taken a mighty fall. Rise, O brethren, from the woes of stupor. Make thy resurrected grit stand firm and tall.
Mince no words in loathing the oppressions. This conundrum of life has befooled us often. Take the doubters' prophecies with a grain of salt. Kill the cribbing clouds and shine like a sun.
TIMES WERE, ARE AND SHALL BE NASTY. Don't you beg for the saviour cranes. Run on shaky lands. Carve thy own destinies. Beyond the dark resides the tranquil rain.
