Simple Love
Scores of tips,
a bounty of advice from my friends,
to please my babe, and keep her in love with me.
But I wish to be content, for all i crave is simplicity.
Some small talks, as we walk across the college lane,
a quick peck on her cheek, to see her face turn red,
and watch her beauty unfold to its fullest,
or a simple stroll across the beach lines, under the crimson sky,
our palms in unison where we stand to witness,
the beauty of the sunset,
walking miles hand in hand during heavenly pours,
or sharing a bowl of porridge during the cold nights,
cuddling up in one blanket, warming each other till dawn,
and with many such small acts,
I could make her smile.
Her smile, a blessing in disguise,
to bind me with cheer.
Each time she smiled away, shyingly while exchanging glances,
it was the perfect moment for me,
which I now call as love.
My pals had given me 101 tips for impressing.
Yet I could win her with such simple ways,
for love doesn't need techniques necessarily.
It happens when its bound to.
Such cute acts and many such,
maybe even writing poems like these for her, is all I need,
to proclaim my love for her.
