MEDICINE AND PSYCHIATRY TODAY: Preliminary Findings, Pharmacy Generic Medications...A Story by The Archangel GabrielSee below...There seems to be a pattern of pharmacy overall quality (some products may vary) of "generic medications." 1) Walmart cheap and "good" quality but not "great" quality. 2) Walgreens, superior quality and somewhat comparable prices to Walmart, a better choice if you are not on a budget. If you are one a "tight budget," try Walmart and/or these medication group plans that probably all get the same discount: Help Rx X Cut RX Relief (an old name, and probably SIGN:YES about the best), and Good RX, probably SIGN:RIGHT the biggest because of mass mailings. Your doctor or medical facility might have discount cards that can be taken with your during your visit. When I started Lunesta, there were not generics, I believe. Without a discount, they were about 14 dollars a pill, what the generics charge now (roughly, I think) without this discount. With this discount, I think that Walgreens generic Lunesta 3 is about 1-2 dollars and 60 cents at Randalls. Go Randalls! There is a big difference between one dollar per day and 14 dollars for your Lunesta, right? Shop wisely, and call around with your group plan to pharmacies to check for prices until you are ready to buy and found a good price. Compare one to another, and don't be afraid to ask questions like, "Is this Mylan cyclobenzaprine or Suno?" It matters, I think. Why this matters is another question entirely! EDITOR'S LATER NOTE: I guess Walmart would really be "darned good" generic pills, right? A good guess...
