POSSIBLE MEDICAL ALERT: Benadryll or generics

I have prescription strength, 1 or 2 (25-50) pills per day, Benadryll to help with my sleep.  For a while, it seemed to work well for me.  Over time, I think I started waking up with blurry vision.  Eventually, it was so bad that I (probably; I do not generally share my medical files) cast a spell to disintegrate improper chemicals (twice) in my eyes and visual cortex.  In theory, this reconciled the medical side effect of defective vision.  Presumably, I have since discontinued use of Benadryll.  Please be advised that this particular approach to sleep problems may be defective in this fashion.
