Wood fire best; charcoal okay, but please use seasoning wood

Prepare the hot dog like before, the cutting phase

Place the hot dog on a stick that has bark removed and non-toxic wood, or

Place the hod dog on a long, about 3.5 feet, hot dog fork or other cooking device

ONLY THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTHING LESS WILL DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, you just put the hot dog over the fire

140 degrees and some burn is okay but well cooked and sanitized

Booyah!  Hot dog go booyah!
