A Story by Aradhana Gotur
For the many autism and OCD affected
She sees him arranging hangers in the cupboard. He pulls them down and rearranges them. He does it repetitively. she is standing at the door looking at him earnestly. Her eyes swell up. "This is not the time to give up", she says to herself, "He is mine. I love him in all forms." She goes up to him, looks deep into his eyes. He is shivering and sweating profusely. Quickly, he shifts his gaze away. With a sea of emotions in her trying to show up in her eyes, she gently grabs him by his shoulders and says in a soft voice, "Look into my eyes darling." A single glance at her eyes and he knows what he sees is for him.
