Planning (chapter 1 of The Angels on Earth (A Sequel to The Guardian Angel))

A Chapter by Rhonda

Jesus and Rhonda were walking home from the bus stop.

They were now in 11th grade. They have been together without any fights. No one knew that Jesus came down from the sky except for Rhonda, his parents, and Rhonda's parents.

"Do you remember the day that I asked you out?"

"Yes, I remember it like it was yesterday."

"Our aniversery is on June 26 and June 27."

"Yes it is. I already got you your presents."

"I still have to find yours."

"School's almost out. You have about a month and a half."

"Yep. Can't you believe that next year we're going to be Seniors?"

"I can't."

"I know. Me neither."

"I forgot something."

"What?"

"My friend's birthday is on the 26th. We were going to go to the mall. I can't bring anybody. I can go to dinner with you. On the 27th, we can spend the whole day together, ok?"

"Ok."

"I'm sorry though."

"It's ok. Where would you like to go to dinner on the 26th and 27th?"

"You can pick the 27th and I'll pick on the 26th."

"Ok, you go first."

"Ok. I think I want to go to Outback."

"Alright. I want to go to Applebee's. I have Mexican food too much."

"Haha. Ok. It's set, but maybe I can get my friend to change the say. I'll talk to him tonight."

"HIM!?"

"Don't worry. He's my ex-boyfriend. We're just friends now. He has a girlfriend, so it's alright.

"Ok."

"You know, I can't believe that we've been together for almost 6 years."

"Me neither. 6 years is a lot."

"Prom will be great."

"You bet."

They reached the begining of the court.

"Well, we better go." Jesus said.

"Ok. See you later."

"See you."

Jesus crossed the court as Rhonda started walking straight.

The mail man was 4 houses down from Rhonda's house.

She quickly crossed the court without the mail man seeing.

She got to her house and no one was there.

Thankfully, she had a key to get in.

She wondered where her parents and brother would've gone.

She got herself in the house and saw a note on the wall.

"Rhonda,

We've gone to the mall to shop for some things. We'll get dinner for all 4 of us to have here.

Mom"
