Is This A Dream? (chapter 10 of The Guardian Angel)

In the summer, Dakota kept guarding Rhonda. Middle school was going to start soon

 

The night before it middle school started, God and Dakota were talking.

 

"God, I think I've fallen in love with Rhonda."

 

"Oh no."

 

"Oh no what?"

 

"Being in love with the person you're guarding is forbidden. You must snap out of it.

 

"I can't. It's just a feeling that'll never go away."

 

"As long as you don't get into trouble, I won't arrest you."

 

"Ok."

 

Dakota wanted to be on Earth so bad. She wanted to tell Rhonda everything. He was sad that he couldn't.

1 year passed of middle school. Rhonda and Jesus were still together with no fights at all. They were already in 8th grade having a good time.

 

They were walking home together one day.

 

"Hey, is it ok if I go in this store for a second?" Jesus asked.

 

"Sure. I'll wait out here." Rhonda waited for half an hour.

 

"Why is he taking so long?" Rhonda asked herself. She entered the store to see what was going on.

 

"What's taking so long?" Rhonda asked Jesus.

 

"I can't decide on something." Right after he said that, a guy with a black mask came in with a gun.

 

"Everyone down!" he yelled. Everyone went down on the cold floor.

 

"Hand me the money!." he yelled to the cashier. He handed him the money.

 

As soon as the robber walked out the cashier called 911.

 

Jesus went up and out of the store chasing the robber.

 

"What are you doing Jesus?" Rhonda yelled.

 

Rhonda ran out the door.

 

The robber got out his gun and BAM! It went off and hit Jesus.

 

Rhonda ran the fastest she could to Jesus.

 

"No!!!!!" she yelled with tears in her eyes.

 

Everyone came out from the store and came by Rhonda.

 

"What happened?" the cashier asked.

 

"He got shot in the stomach. I think he's dead." she replied with tears streaming down her face.

 

"911's coming soon."

 

Rhonda quickly got out her cell phone.

 

"Mom, come down to that store next to KFC. Something bad happened."

 

"I'm coming right away.''

 

Rhonda asked herself if this was a dream. She didn't think it was.

 

Dakota felt really bad. He cried himself.
