My Goodbyes

I have had goodbyes

Goodbyes that I wanted and goodbyes that I didn't want

Goodbye to my grandparents' dog that went with me through everything

Goodbye to my grandparents' cats that went with me through everything too

Goodbye to my first boyfriend that I only went out with because I felt sorry for him

Goodbye to my great-grandma

Goodbye to the friends I had fights with and hated

I have also had almost goodbyes

Almost goodbye to my great aunt that had breast cancer

Almost goodbye to my great uncle that had a heart attack

Almost goodbye to my cat that got locked in someone's house and starved for 3 days

Almost goodbye to my friend that has diabetes

i'm only 11 turning 12 on june 22, so i might not have the greatest skills writing.

I agree with Butterfly mom. I think it would be better if you didn't have to 'almost goodbyes' in it and ended it with something else but altogether a very good poem. :)
