~ THE HOME ~
The doors when found locked inside, You honey, perhaps, got back so far, Staring at the lonely pin-hole upon… Perhaps, you stared at window-panes, Through which you’d find me coming home, Keeping aside the heavy curtain so black… Our chairs are there, Tea-table as well, Flower vase you placed upon, as it was Sitting corner of our lawn is still the same… You placed some orchids in clay tubs, They still grow with adore so good old, Perhaps you missed their green so much… Grass in the garden reminds you hard, Must you step there while you arrive, With your petal-naked feet so soft… You arrive, perhaps honey, when I sleep Having opportunity to stare at your home, Home you furnished with choices of your own… You roam around now your home honey, Only when I am completely out of it, To observe the changes with any disturbance… Have you then noticed honey, the Garden? The bird-feeder you placed, as it was, Grains still need to be filled twice a week… Every time you arrive your lonely home, You leave the ever-known fragrance of your own Letting me learn to love you over again… You do come only to see your home, no idea if it’s true, Please come to meet me once if you please, Or are you waiting to see our home together someday? … ~ Anwar Parvez Shishir ~ 23/11/2013 Saturday Jessore.Dhaka.Bangladesh 2013 © anwarparvezshishir.wordpress.com 2013 © facebook.com/apshishir 2013 © apshishir.blog.com © 2013 Anwar Parvez ShishirAuthor's Note
