A New Day

 

A new day is dawning

Hope arises anew

The Sun is finally shinning

I am over losing you

Storm clouds  no longer roll by

The tears I have cried have long since dried

 

A new day is dawning

Hope arises anew 

Like a tree I stand stong and tall

Ready to show the world that I can handle it all

Fall has past and at last

Basking in the newness of spring

I now know that time will heal us from many things

 

If someday it starts to rain

bringing back memories of hurt and pain

I will remember 

A new day is dawning
