 Helpless in the night

Helpless in the night

A Poem by amy p
"

Small child, helpless in the night, Cries out for help, no one in sight.

"

Small child, helpless in the night,

Cries out for help, no one in sight.

Who answers? He answers!

Small child, helpless in the night,

Prays and holds herself tight.

Waiting for comfort, she knows will come!

Small child, helpless in the night,

Knows everything will be alright,

Is calmed and comforted.

Small child, helpless in the night,

She feels His embrace despite

And knows He will never let her go!

A nice poem for kids to tell them that someone is there for them, who will answer there prayers and comfort their agony. A poem that tells us to 'believe in' and have 'faith'.
Thanks for sharing.

I feel a calling to speak out and up for abused children/people. Thank you.
