Seasons of Passing
Can you describe it?
The scenery
Seen beautifully
And is it majestic?
The greenery
By the lively trees
While birds fly up above
In a flock of summer love
But love is always passing.
And can you smell it?
The autumn breeze
Carrying pumpkin seeds
No author could tell it
But its Halloween
With ghouls and kings
And the children laugh and play
In a world made for today
But time too is passing
And the snow covered mountains
Are tumbling down
Echoing with the winter’s sound
Onto the pure, crystalic ground
Then we sing
With the sprout of spring
We plant our seeds
To see what love will bring
Is it just a fling
Made by the seasonal ring
Caused by the seasons passing?
