What Is Forever?

Covered up by sheer existence 

my heart throbs for another day, 
another time, 

when I can cry an unheard noise 

throughout the tides of forever, 

and though forever has never been heard 
I can hear it now 
and it screams so lonely, 

so sad, 
sobbing for another, 
someone to stay, 

someone that can feel as she, 
that can see as she,
who sees, so blurred, yet so untimely a view

 
...like water falls that crash against oblivion 
         and footsteps that follow the stars 

and arrows pointing north -- only to come back again by south;

Where time is just an essence, 

and she is bereft by beauty.
