Kyle's Story

For those of you who don't know me my name is Kyle I play the role of a regular teenage boy, but to my brothers and sisters I am an Alpha a leader to my wolf pack. If you haven't figured it out yet I'm a werewolf living in the world of the humans we live to protect the human race from others who would like to extinguish there kind and to expose us for who and what we are we were put on this earth to protect it and the things living on it those monsters you thought were myths well there not myths vampires, ghosts, zombies, werewolves and way more they all exist in there very own society but some creatures go mad for blood and no longer follow the rules of there societies these are the monsters that my kind hunt down and kill, once they get a taste for human blood they just can't stop getting enough of it they just feel the need to give in to the crazy hunger that lives in us all that is why my kind exist to protect the invisible boundary line that protects us from exposure this is what I would have said had I not seen the girl that was destined to be my mate I was at school when the new girl walked into my class I was writing some notes down when I felt this weird tingly feeling in the pit of my stomach at the exact same time that the whole class got quiet I looked up to see what everyone was staring at only to see the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen she introduced herself as Rachael the teacher directed her to the only available seat left which was the seat right nest to mine at my table she ducked her head on the way to hr seat which gave me the impression that she might be a shy girl " Hi I'm Kyle." I said breathlessly as I held out my hand to shake her's she took my hand " Hi I'm Rachael." she said shaking my hand once, when she met my gaze she looked away blushing after that first class we seemed be in every class right next to each other when lunch came I invited her to sit with me she agreed graciously I knew that she was thankful that she didn't have to sit with people she wasn't familiar with we got to know each other a bit better and were becoming great friends whenever she moved even a little I got a wiff of her scent she smelled like vanilla and roses I loved her scent immediately I just couldn't get enough of it. After a few weeks passed she no longer became the new girl she was now the shy girl, but I stuck by her no matter what even as our friendship grew stronger my feelings for her grew ever more passionate. After a while I finally got up the courage to ask her out I got to my seat to see that she was already there I sat down next to her tapped her on the shoulder and whispered into her ear " Do you want to go out with me?" I asked her she blushed and said yes I smiled at her and lightly kissed her cheek and grabbed her hand under the table she squeezed my hand lightly and I squeezed her's back we faced the front of the class after class we went to our table and sat down closer than we used to by the time my brothers came up to my table I knew something was horribly wrong I talked to them telepathically " What's wrong?" I asked " I'm sorry Kyle but Tyler's dead he was killed by a vampire on his patrol." josh thought to me hoarsely " What!" I said out loud forgetting to talk to them mentally Rachael looked at me with concern when she heard the pain in my voice " What's the matter?" she asked me " Find out what happened then report back to me." I told the pack mentally after they left I turned to Rachael and told her " I just found out that my brothers dead." she hugged me tightly and whispered " I'm so sorry Kyle." we left the lunch room together and went to class I was quiet for the remainder of the day.
