Angel

For my bestfriend: Don’t ever think I’m gone. I am always with you. I am always listening.

Don’t ever think that a friend may forget;

That a friend may vanish or go away…

Remember that “True friends never go”

You may not see him, but he’s right behind you

With folded wings, within a distance, watching your steps

Silently listening to the sounds brought by the wind

If you feel that all has left you alone,

Just look back,

You’ll see his eyes shining for you

You’ll see a smile that is made just for you

You’ll see a friend,

Unknown from the world,

Contented to walk behind your shadows.

Beautiful poem. I have a lot of friends that I don't talk to very often. Some have moved away, others are in college...but, I know they are always there for me :) Wonderful tribute to "real friends"
